The 2010 grappa has just arrived with a much improved exhaust and engine design over the previous grappa. The grappa now has an aluminium exhaust system which is light and will not corrode - this is a major plus over other scooters with their old steel exhaust systems. The 2010 grappa has the latest generation GY6 engine which produces 25% more power than the 2009 grappa, but with the same tiny fuel use! This makes this 125cc engine as powerful as other 150cc scooters out there!
The grappa combines state of the art looks with a compact design. The grappa is an easy to ride ‘twist and go’ scooter. Press the start button, and once the 125cc engine is running, just twist the throttle and away you go. No gears to change, nice and easy! The grappa is designed for the urban dweller that needs transport over relatively short distances. There is great storage space under the seat. You can also add a top box to the back of the grappa should you need extra space. The grappa has a powerful disk brake on the front and a drum brake on the back. This will give you plenty of stopping power even with two people aboard. The grappa has big 12-inch wheels that give superior handling to the normal 10-inch wheels that most 125cc scooters use. The high quality aluminium exhaust is unique compared to other scooters. The grappa's 5-litre fuel tank should give you a range of up to 200km before you have to fill up. You can get your grappa in four cool colours: Pearl Black, Arctic White, Ferrari Red or Metallic Silver.
