Italian: corretto: 'A corretto is
a shot of
espresso with a tot of grappa added'
The corretto is aimed at the
person that
wants a motorcycle that has the power and speed to travel regularly on
freeways
at speeds of up to 120km/h. Because the corretto has 18-inch wheels and
wider
tyres, cornering at higher speeds is easy.
The corretto has an electric
starter so you
do not need any effort to get going. A powerful disk brake on the front
and
progressive drum brakes at the back give the corretto powerful stopping
ability.
If you have a long commute where you will be riding with faster
traffic, the
corretto is for you. The corretto has a large 14 liter petrol tank so
with
consumption at around 35km a liter the range should be over 450km!
Update:
Jan 2010: The 2010 model
corretto 200 is now in stock. The 2010 model features a larger 240mm front disk brake with a
dual-piston caliper for extra stopping power and control.

Feb 10: Gordon De Beer, who rode a java for
two years, upgraded to a corretto. Gordon has completed over 20 000
trouble free k's and is ecstatic with his corretto. Not only is his
cruise down the N1 every day at normal traffic speed of over 110km/h
but he has been getting a steady consumption of 35k's per litre! that
is less than 3l per 100km! Imagine how much you could save every month
on a corretto.
